How Sweet it is... :: Augusta, GA Photographer

This maternity shoot was such an exciting one. The location, the mom-to-be, the weather, the timing, everything worked out perfectly. Mostly, this shoot was so great because of the story behind it.





This mommy-to-be has an admittedly blessed life with a wonderful husband and young son, but she and her husband have been wanting to have another child for two and a half years.





She's been diagnosed with unexplained infertility, which she revealed, has been incredibly frustrating. They've bounced from doctor to doctor, and tried many different medicines and procedures.




Twelve weeks ago the heavens aligned...



and they were surprised with the wonderful news that they were finally going to grow their family. But there's a twist...



...after going in to confirm the pregnancy with an ultrasound the first week, she was asked to return the following week (normal for the specialists she was seeing).
Upon her return and second ultrasound it would seem that this family is indeed going to grow...



...by TWO!!! That's right, folks, this family will be blessed with TWINS.

Now, this is obviously not your average maternity shoot as most of them are done when the mom-to-be is around 34 weeks...



...but, after everything this family has been through, they wanted to share their exciting news in a new way.
